1966	India's first woodwool boards as Anulyte by Anudyog in Kolkata
	Co-founded by partners, Virendra Nath Mittal & Priyadarshini Mittal

1971	City office at Commerce House, trading commences in glass and mirrors
	Gireesh Mohan joins as Ops Head and stays till ops shift to Bengaluru in 1992
	Ramchandra Singh joins as Man Friday and stays till retirement in 2010

1976	Branch office at Arundelpet, Vijaywada for sales to cinemas of South
	Headed by GP Yadav with close co-ordination by Patra from Kolkata

1980	Land acquired in Whitefield, Bengaluru for second factory of woodwool boards
	.
1982	Karnataka's first woodwool boards as Anutex by SSS Woods in Bengaluru
	K Gunashekaran joins as Man Friday. Now, heads Sample Department.

1988	Founder partner Viren Mittal passes away, Sandeep Mittal joins as partner
	Shipra, George with Gireesh Mohan, Ramchandra Singh support Kolkata ops

1990	'Anutone' as a legend is born - a brand, a logo and a corporate colour
	Binny Limited as sole selling agents jettisoned, self-marketing starts

1991	Strand Sculpt for cinemas of South India - First variants in wood wool boards
	Single-handed revival of the woodwool board industry in India commences

1992	G. Bharathi joins as Office Assistant. Now, AGM - Client Relations.
	Kolkata ops shifts to Bengaluru

1995	Ram Naresh Sharma joins as Consultant Director for technical upgrades

1997	Soak Cord & Soak Plane - fabric wrapped wood wool boards for first time
	Smart Burl - a dual LF sound absorber & HF reflector - another India first
	Founder partner Priya Mittal exits, Bindu Mittal inducted as partner
	Reji Mathew joins as Accounts Executive. Now, Executive Director.
	S. Sankarshan joins as Sales Executive for insulation division

1999	First exports to Philippines, later West Asia, also first all-India market presence

2000	Mat invented as Microfibre Acoustical Tile (now Mat Solo, Mat Ebony)

	Wooden acoustics with Ideatec Spain - Slats, an Anutone brand, goes generic
	Acoustic melamine foams of BASF with Pinta Elements (formerly Illbruck)
	Kimi Alexander exits as Marketing Head and eventually founds Hillpoint

2008	Large format perforated gypsum with Danoline Denmark - India first
	Metal acoustical ceiling systems with CMC Belgium, later Aspen Turkey
	Systems Guide as a reference book for acoustical walls & ceilings launched

2010	Sisoli mineralfibre ceilings and Tufbloc magnesia boards to specs from China

2011	All Ekcel|Absol products designed inhouse and made to specs, Anutone goes solo

2012	Ajay Sharma exits to co-found Earcons in New Delhi

2013	Strand Colour Planks with 1mm superfine filament-like wood wool, India first
	Manufacturing plant for magnesia boards at Malur, Karnataka - first in India

2019	Undergoes a complete change, a major metamorphosis, a total transformation
	More emphasis on fibre-based natural panels as baffles, clouds and discretes
	in more shapes, more colours, more embosses, more prints to provide a mind-boggling
	arrayÿof design options and visual acoustics for the interiors of the next decade
	New products include - Strand Grafix, Strand Sculpt, Strand Mozaic, Strand Cubix,
	Strand Clouds, Mat Duo Grafix, Mat Duo Shapes Perfs, Tufbloc Perfs, Slim Wave
	Grafix, Stretch Grafix, Subtex Dekor Grafix, Slats Spots MP, Sonator Duo,
	Pixel 0820, Serge Lance etc - many for the first time in India
